GEMS has made submission of medical aid claims easy!
Claims must be submitted to the scheme before the last day of the fourth month after the medical service was rendered. GEMS won’t pay any claims after the 4-month period in accordance with the Regulations of the Medical Schemes Act.
The GEMS Tariff file contains the Scheme rates for the current year at which healthcare providers will be paid for services rendered.
